My musical journey is an intimate odyssey, an exploration of the human soul and the vast universe surrounding us. Each creation serves as a reflection of specific periods, emotions, and moments that I strive to immortalize and comprehend. My style, both precise and unique, is characterized by a fusion of genres and meticulous attention to sonic details. My passion for cinema deeply influences my music, adding a cinematic dimension that enriches my compositions and offers an authentic and singular auditory experience.

Let's start from the beginning. In 2016, my album PARTURA was born. It embodies a contemplation of life, a dance between cosmology, mythology, and introspection on evolution. Through its melodies, I explored the intertwining of man and nature, presenting a poetic tableau of our existence and the rhythms that shape it.

Then come, my two singles, "CULEX" and "FINGERS LINK A SOUL." They have served as intermediate reflections and introspective pauses, enabling me to evolve and navigate between my various universes.

The journey of LES ÉTATS DE LA MATIÈRE is an intriguing one, filled with unexpected twists and turns.

From 2021 to 2022, the creative process of the album LES ÉTATS DE LA MATIÈRE unfolded, leading to the creation of not just one album, but two EPs and two albums. It's amusing how this project took on a life of its own, defying initial expectations and blossoming into an expansive body of work.

Continuing this introspection, CARNATION, released in 2022, delves into the duality of human nature. Between softness and tumult, this EP represents the SKIN, the organ of proximity par excellence, testifying to emotional tensions and the complexity of our feelings, while also acting as a cathartic release for my own challenges and emotions.

HEARTLESSLY

Also, in 2022, in a challenging global context marked by the war in Ukraine, HEARTLESSLY was born. It is my cry for peace, a tribute to the resilience of the human spirit in the face of all power struggles that ravage our world.

That same year, AUTOPSY was unveiled. This work is my own autopsy, a response to my deep-seated questions, an unfiltered sonic exploration, allowing my guts to be freely exposed to the world, capturing the complexities and nuances of our experiences while offering an escape from life's challenges.

The album Sigil Therapy-Restituto is a reflection of my most emotional side; I composed this album entirely over two weeks following a deeply challenging emotional experience. It weaves together elements of noise, jazz, and trip-hop, mirroring the tumultuous journey of my emotions. The sound design and spatialization in this album are particularly meaningful to me—they symbolize the depth and placement of feelings and sensations within different environments, sometimes enveloping, sometimes distant. The rhythms vary dramatically, from chaotic and random to strikingly direct and forceful, like hammer blows, representing the repetitive nature of my thoughts during this period. To me, this album is like a private journal, capturing my burnt desires, keen observations, and pressing questions, all leading up to a moment of healing. The beginning is the end, in terms of sound, frequency, and drone, marking a full circle in my emotional and creative journey.

The composition of the track EQUINOXE emerges as the precursor to my next album, LES ÉTATS DE LA MATIÈRE. This opus is not just an exploration of sensations within relationships, whether fleeting or eternal, but it also synthesizes two of my previous works, CARNATION, and AUTOPSY. Initially conceived as a complete story, the narrative was split into two distinct stages through these albums. Today, with LES ÉTATS DE LA MATIÈRE, I seek to piece these puzzle parts together, merging abstract visual art and electronic music to offer a holistic vision of my artistic journey.

Partura: Tisserands du cosmos (French Edition)

PARTURA is a musical album, from 2016, that delves into cosmogony, the collection of mythic narratives, origin stories, and scientific conjectures that seek to explain the origin and evolution of the universe. It explores the evolution of humanity, both living and non-living components, such as the mineral elements like the gaseous atmosphere, water, and rocks.

This album is accompanied by the book Partura – Tisserands du cosmos, which further explores these themes. The book is available since 2024 through Lys Bleu Editions.

Green Cabaret, Five O'Clock in the Evening represents a bold step into the fusion of pop, jazz, and EDM, while maintaining MEI's signature innovation, precision, and attention to detail. This album explores new vocal territories with a sensual, sometimes rhythmic, spoken-word style, creating a balance between minimalism and rich, layered production. The approach is both intimate and powerful, where each track stands as a carefully crafted piece, reflecting the artist’s refusal to conform to standard genres.

Bitchcraft is a bold project where MEI delves into the full power of femininity through captivating sounds and sharp lyrics. Entirely composed by MEI, this album is a sonic manifesto blending hard-hitting beats, raw emotions, and an unyielding energy. Nah Eeto joins on two tracks, adding her cutting-edge rap to the mystical and powerful universe of Bitchcraft.

The EP titled K'IEN
The EP titled K'IEN. This somewhat esoteric EP is primarily sung in Spanish. It features a duo of characters, PENCILS, wandering between the sun and the moon, evoking the universe of tarot, and magical rituals through the chants. That's the adventure! Throughout their journey, they encounter creatures that propel them on a cosmic journey, ancestral quests. These pencils symbolize inscription, note-taking, consciousness.
